A leading and successful Freight/Logistics company based in the West Midlands is seeking an experienced Account Manager/Executive.
Due to the nature of the role, a sound understanding of the Freight/Logistics industry would be advantageous as you will have the opportunity to play an important part in helping the business achieve its goals and objectives in the future.
This is a brand new role that has been created due to the success the business has experienced in the last 6 months.
Overview of the role:
You will manage a portfolio of existing accounts and be responsible for maximising the revenue and future business opportunities they offer. Dealing with all client sales requirements you will provide an outstanding customer service, ensuring their queries and enquiries are dealt with efficiently and effectively.
You will be generate new business opportunities by proactively following up on leads provided
As an Account Executive you will provide quotations as requested by clients and be responsible for converting them into secured revenue.
Managing the full cycle you will monitor service levels and ensure that company policies are adhered to at all times
By developing client relationships you will need to attend regular client meetings in order to maximise and secure future business
Person Specification
You will be able to demonstrate the ability to manage customer accounts, providing exceptional customer service You will have a proven track record in sales/business development and be able to demonstrate a sound understanding of the sales process
Experience in the Freight /Logistics is highly advantageous
